Full Metal Alchemist..What If?

Ive been revisting the anime and remembered how cool it was
it is very cinematic and would make a good franchise
the wachowskis( or james mcteigue..they go hand in hand), zack snyder, tarantino, or guy ritchie should look into this
any thoughts?

Honestly, the concepts are beyond their comfort zone. Wachowski's Matrix sequels were already lost to the general audience. Even the concept of equivalent exchange is beyond us. We just want to get past the recession and live like we used to, ignoring the checks and balances. I'd rather see Pumpkin Scissors come to the theaters because it mostly addresses issues of post-war relief and misery.

sadly this might actaully be true
maybe this is what hurt watchmen
people expected action packed superheroes and not tormented real life vigilantes
still i hope a movie like this gets made

I haven't seen any teenage actors that would be able to handle a film like that. Considering Ed's height, the actor would probably have to be like 9.

im sure people would be okay with making edward a bit older, having a 11 year old fighting and keeping the violence from the cartoon would be kinda hard to see, tho they are basically doing that with kickass so its possible. Al on the otherhand could stay pretty young since the armor would be a stunt double anyway.

well idk about the rest of the cast i always thought Jeremy Piven when maes hughs would come on screen t:
