Funds cut to NY??

Didn't see any threads on the subject so I thought I'd get everyones opinions? Being a life long New Yorker, I think the idea to cut ANY funds to NY is just painting a bigger target on our backs. I have no ill will towards any other state and wish there were no need for any sort of funding for security, but come on New York is number 1 with a bullet.

I tend to think that labelling terrorist groups as 'predictable' in who or where they will strike next is a bit ... naive.

Terrorism in a global problem - not just a NY problem.

Easy buddy, I thought this was common knowledge because of all the news coverage, i'll try and find a link to todays Daily News for you. Also I didn't hear of any cuts to Washington's defense funds, which is why I didn't even bother to bring up D.C. .

I never said it was just a New York problem, all I mentioned was that we are a major target and that they cut the defense funds(in half, by the way). I'll say it again, I wish no where in the world needed a defense fund, but we do.

NY was cut from 200 million to like 120 million where Houston, who has 35% oil refining, nasa and MASSIVE port facilities just got cut to 15 million...
