Futurama Movie Out November 27 on DVD

Saw it on the internet :p

It definitely could work as the series finale tying up everything and practically showing every character seen in the series that had some significant role at one point or another

As to why they made the potential last part of the series, I don't know, but I liked it none the less.

Oh and the Hanukkah zombie could be the greatest character ever
You hocked a copy of a series you love:huh: :csad: Support them and buy or rent.

By the way, was Torgo Powder a reference to Mystery Science Theater 3000?

no I errrrrrrrm definatly meant likes....I like in england...don't you like in england too??? :woot:

Digital Bits says the second film, Beast With a Billion Backs, is scheduled for June 24th.

^Sounds good, I hope this next one is a more coherent story instead of a fanservice by cramming every character in an hour and a half. They need to go back to the show's formula.

Right. I enjoyed it. Wasn't as good as most of the episode in the series, but still funny. Damn confusing, though.

so, they're doing 3 more of these over the next year or so?

imdb has 2 listed for 2008, and one in 2009: 'bender's game', 'the beast with a billion backs', and 'into the wild green yonder'.

hopefully they turn out better than bender's big score, which was still pretty good, but just lacked something that the show had. i'll chalk it up to them not having done an episode in a few years, and just hope that the next movies are awesome... but more futurama is never a bad thing.

i just got a chance to watch "the beast with a billion backs"... it's definitely much better than "bender's big score". it seems like more of a return to true futurama form.

i liked benders big score more this new one was pretty weak.

the best part was ****ting a brick wall

I liked Bender's Big Score better. Beast with the Billion Backs just didn't do it for me. I think it was because the Planet Express crew spent too much time in their own seperate subplots and they were never together so it lacked the classic Futurama chemistry.

Y'know, the more I think on it, the more I realize I did not like Bender's Big Score all that much until re-watching it on Comedy Central and my TIVO a few times. Futurama can actually be kinda subtle at times and it does grow on you with subsequent viewings. Hopefully that will be the case with Beast with the Billion Backs.

At any rate, I do have to confess, I wish they just let The Devil's Hands are Idle Play Things remain the end of the series. It truly was a perfect ending.

Also, I hope either in the next one or the one after that, we find out if Nibbler survived his devouring of himself. :o
