Futurama: Movies & Revival

I was just wondering what everyone thought of the news of a Futurama revival on Comedy Central in '08. I wasn't sure whether to put this in the Movie or TV section, since it's a TV show with a few direct to DVD's coming out. Feel free to move if needed. There'll be a total of four, the names of which are:

Bender's Big Score- November 27th, 2007
The Beast with a Billion Backs- sometime in '08
Bender's Game- sometime in '08
Into the Wild Green Yonder- sometime in '08

And here's an idea for what the first one (BBS) will be about:

When the evil naked aliens launch a cyber-attack on Planet Express, they make a shocking discovery: the secret of time travel, mysteriously tattooed on Fry's buttocks. Using their devious nudist software to control Bender, they repeatedly send the beer-fueled robot back in time to loot Earth of its greatest treasures. Bender's rampage through history has shocking repercussions when he encounters Al Gore (guest-starring as himself) during the 2000 Presidential recount. Meanwhile, Leela finds true love, a beloved crew member suffers an embarrassing decapitation, and Fry learns deep secrets about his destiny and his buttocks.

I'm not sure what the TV schedule is going to look like, but I suppose that Comedy Central will start to air the show when the DVD's are wrapped up. Thoughts?

I'm a little confused on that myself, so don't take my word as fact or anything. From what I hear, though, it's either that they are doing both the DVD's and a new season, or the season will basically be reruns of the movies, only split into episodes. I can't say for certain, though.

Also, I think Fry would have to be my favorite character. I like the humor from his stupidity, and his desperate attempts to hook up with Leela.

Zoidberg is my favourite. The Professor has one of my favourite quotes of all time though. "With my last breath, I CURSE ZOIDBERG!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I think Comedy Central are splitting up all 4 DVD's to get 16 episodes which they're running as a new season.

Definitely Fry. I used to be a Bender fan, but over time, after episodes like the dog episode (can't remember his name), or the final one with the Devil, I just grew to appreciate him more.

I don't know if I'd say funniest, but best overall quality yes. I find I laugh harder at family guy, but I laugh more consistently at Futurama.

Comedy Central is breaking up the 4 movies into 16 episodes, also I believe this is the end for Futurama, which I guess I'm kind of glad cuz I hate the series to end with unfinished buesiness.

Zapp is by far my favorite, with Zoidberg and the professor bringing up 2nd and 3rd.
