I figured we could use one here too. Did anyone catch The Beast with the Billion Backs?

I watched it last night, gotta admit I was pretty disappointed by it. I think it was because there were too many subplots that kept the main Planet Express Crew seperate from one another so it lacked their classic chemistry. Though I did love the classic B-movie feel of it.

One of my favorite shows of all time.

I haven't seen any of the new movies but the old episodes are awesome.

Wow. I am probably going to drop a lot of money picking up all the dvds at once...

I love this show.

"Futurama", definitely my favorite show of all time (well, to date). So glad it finally came back in some form, even if the first 2 movies aren't among the very best material.

The new movies out already?

Well, in the US "Bender's Big Score" was released last November, and "The Beast with a Billion Backs" just came out this Tuesday.

If there are any avvy makers out there with the Beast with a Billion Backs DVD, I'd love a 100x100 of "1930's style" Fry & Bender from the opening credits.

It was okay, I had heard it was really bad so i wasn't expecting anything much. I think they should just make more episodes.

"Camera One"

ZZZZZZZZZZ

"Camera Two"

ZZZZZZZZZZ

"Camera Three"

ZZZZZZZZZZ

:woot:

"Benders big score" was a great movie, it had everything that makes Futurama so great.

"Beast with a billion backs" however lacked something, it´s pace and over all story just didn´t do it for me. That said it´s still worth watching since even bad Futurama is still better then 99.9% of other comedies out there :yay:

I´m really looking forward to "Benders game", the things I´ve read about that movie make it sound a lot more interesting then BWBB.

"BBS" was great, but "Beast" really let me down. The tone was too off. I think they set the bar too high with the first one, especially by setting up the second one as a direct follow-up with the anomoly. It was still funny, but it wasn't all that remarkable.

I love this show.

I did... I may be money poor but now I am Futurama rich!

29 hour Futurama marathon on the way...

When is Bender's Game (what a great title!) out?

IMDB has it set for November 4th...

So maybe sometime in November.

Sidenote.... it looks awesome.

Oh man I cannot wait for Bender's Big Game. After I saw BWBB I felt a bit left down, even though it had some good stuff in it. The best part of the DVD was the preview for BBG. What I am really excited for is Into the Wild Green Yonder where they will finally reveal the origin of the number 9 man.

Oooh, you got to research more into the series. The number 9 man is a background character that would appear in many episodes in the first two seasons. He was part of some sort of numbered caste system but the idea was scrapped. The final movie ITWGY will reaveal more into his origins. I cannot wait to see more of what he is.

Loved Benders Big Score thought it was soo funny, couldnt stop laughin for most of it.

The second one not so much, just didnt find it that interesting and dragged on a little.

I'm looking forward to more movies, isnt there only two left?

Bender's Game is out!

And it's great.

When are the others coming out?

Into the Wild Green Yonder comes out February 24, 2009

Holy crap I totally forgot BBG came out today. What the hell was I thinking???!

Benders game was alright but i felt it went on WAYYYYY to long, by the end of it i was wishing for it to stop.

Benders Big score is my Favourite so far
