One of the reasons I'd love to see Fox move towards an X-Men/Fantastic Four cinematic universe is because I'd love to see the X-Men face off against Dr. Doom.

I'm still calling Selene for a future film(s):

Another branch of the Hellfire Club? A version of the Upstarts? The Externals? The Sisterhood? So many ways to take the character.

Although with Apocalypse...using another ancient being might not be the best way to go.
