FX - The League

As always this episode delivers in spades. Love when JJ caught them in his hotel room and Ted tries to run through the door only to be stopped by another door, ****! Haha and poor Andre, nothing ever goes right for him. As always Taco steals every scene his in and the look on Andre's face when he finishes and sees that it's Taco is classic.

I wished they'd followed up a bit more with the Domination League. But yea, this episode was insanely great. I just feel so bad for Andre. It was bad enough the way they ended the season last year with them finding out Trixie is allergic to his, stuff. But now, they've drug this stuff out and now after everything it's all ****ed? I wanna see Andre married and all the hilarity that comes from that. And, I can't help it, I really feel bad for Andre. Is he a complete *****e nozzle? Well yea, but he catches so incredible amounts of **** from everybody and just the stuff he gets into it gets depressing at times. I at least wanted to see him get a damn wife. Oh well least we got "It's like a bad episode of Big Love" "There ARE NO bad episodes of Big Love!" Lmfao that made me grin ear to ear

Haha, amazing episode. I gotta admit, I too feel bad for Andre. However, I wish Ted could stick around forever. Never before has AIDS been so damn funny.

He was great in very small doses, and while I still love Rafi I can't blame people for getting turned off by his increased presence.

Exactly. The more that Rafi is featured, the worse he becomes. The writers should use him in the same way that they use Rodney Ruxin, in very limited capacity. Any time Goldblum is on screen, I want more. But I am confident that if he was there for full episodes, I'd quickly grow tired. Too much Rafi kills the joke.

I just love the crazy **** Rafi says and does. He's like, the craziest tv character ever. I wanna see him die eventually in some seriously messed up way.

I loved the Jay Cutler jokes and how he was able to laugh at himself. I loved how his wife got upset after his son got sacked.

I enjoyed the episode, but they ought to stop using real NFL players so much. Every now and then is fine, but too many and it feels forced.

Agreed.

In fact, my favorite parts of the show are usually the ones that have nothing to do with football or the league.

I love it but yea I've always thought its incredibly unbelievable that these guys would get to meet so many NFL players. Still though, Ruxin and Kevin are pretty big deals in Chicago, to a degree. Kevin was considered for Judge at one point so to me it isn't too far fetched that it could happen but yea not so damn frequently lol

Well from hearing Nick Kroll on the Nerdist podcast the first few cameos were sheer luck but now that the show is blowing up every major NFL guy is trying to get in on it so they are really just trying to accommodate them. This was a great episode but I missed Ruxin, he is my fave guy on the show. Snoop Lion being an eskimo bro was hilarious and those smoke-tinis were funny too.

I just don't like it, cause every single football player is a HORRIBLE actor. Like Matt said, every now and then it's ok, cause it just ends up being "so-and-so" was on The League. But now all of these players are just polluting the show with their ridiculously bad acting.

Well think of it this way, you have a show about football then it blows up and all the football guys want to do a bit, are you going to tell them no? It kind of goes hand and hand, I for one think they are very good about keeping them to as small a role as possible. I mean the biggest role anyone has had was Kristin Cava-whatever and she was a fake reality show person from the hills who is married to Jay Cutler and it was a good throw back to last season

Rogen is killing it tonight.

LOL did that just happen?

I think some people are going to be happy.

THANK YOU, BRIAN!

:lmao:

Such an odd episode, and yet, I really liked it.

Will Sasso? WILL SASSO?!? :eek::up:

That ending.

Perfect send-off, they best not do anything to tarnish it.

THis episode had some hilarious moments but 30 straight minutes of Rafi got old quick. Will be glad to have the whole gang back next week

Ugh, terrible episode. Of course, I can't stand Rafi in anything but small doses so I suppose I was destined to dislike it. I hope Rafi stays dead, but I'm guessing the episode will be noncanonical.

More like best episode ever, and I don't even like Rafi that much.
