She is not right in her head. She follows her old husband habit of branding himself to expunge the sins/faults with fire.

i think she's kinda got battered woman syndrome. it's obvious that she and her son were abused by her husband. i think she's so scared of the ruse being revealed it has kinda driven her mad

IRL he would have a good accent for a French as of now days but in the show it comes of as forced and gives a really bad guys tone but I guess that was the goal.

She went already mad from her husband abuses if you ask me but you're right about her motives ( the ruse ).

I was wondering about that too, so much so that I looked up the actor. It sounded hopelessly fake, but I didn't want to start throwing that around without some sort of proof. As it turned out, I couldn't find out where the guy, whose name is Tom Forbes, is from. If it was real it's certainly not any kind French accent I've heard before, and if it was fake man, that was really freakin' terrible.

This show has no direction. The only person that has any inclination of a story arc is the Baroness. The lead sesms as confused as his men were when they were captured and imprisoned. Speaking of the Baroness; was she lying when she said she was preganant with an heir?

She sure was! What's the bet the Baroness will use Wilkin to get pregnant, and the heir will be (secretly) his? I mean if you're going to copy Braveheart, might as well go all out!

yeah i think it was obvious to even her maiden that she was lying.
they showed it in the first ep that the Baron was pretty sterile or that they were trying for a child and couldn't have one, yet he blamed it all on her

Even the French's French accent is bad.

The prissy French guy made vampire Bill feel like a ****e, the Baroness faked her pregnancy piss test, and the lead...just moped around all ep..again.

The only reason i'm still watching is because now i'm curious to see if there's actually a point to everything.

The most entertaining thing about the last episode was a random cameo from rapper/poet Scroobius Pip.

I lost interest in anything by Kurt Sutter after the last season of SoA. Haven't even tried watching this.

I didn't even like the last season of SOA and it was better than this mess. At least SOA could coast on Hunnam and the guys making it watchable.

TBX is all of Sutter's excess. Unwatchable. I know SOA pulled in huge numbers for FX, but it's like they turned their backs and let him run wild and make the most boring/aimless show on TV. I can't believe they put this on the air.
