They just had the Premiere.

Most mature incarnation of the show.


Story is top notch. This Universe is way better than the Rise Of Cobra Universe.


G.I.JOE were framed by a respectable Industry called Cobra.

This is what the movie should've been like.

They did a great job of reinventing the premise and reinterpreting the characters while remaining true to the essence of the old comics.

The animation was so-so, but the characterization was spot on. Love Tunnel Rat!

This universe almost rivals the universe of Young Justice in where the story will lead.


Cobra = The Light (from Young Justice)



This is AS good IF not better than G.I.JOE Resolute.

Renegades definitely has a better VA than Resolute due to Gung-Ho, Roadblock, and Flint sounding alike in Resolute I know they are the same Voice Actors but still.

Michael Bell played Duke and Major Bludd while Chris Latta played Cobra Commander and Gung-Ho and they totally sound different in the original GIJOE Series.


Anyways, Renegades were hitting in all cylinder.

-Snake Eyes' fight scenes (He's as cool here as in Resolute)

-Team Member dying

-The humor was pretty funny getting their nicknames

-Scarlett pretty cool as a real intelligence agent

-The Take on Cobra and Cobra Commander...very cool

-I like the rivalry of Duke and Flint in College Football.....BUT I don't like Flint being taller and older than Duke. Make them at least the same age and height. Duke looks like a kid compared to Flint

How's Storm Shadow in Renegades? He's my favorite Cobra character and I hope he's represented well here. I didn't like how he met his fate in Resolute personally.

After seeing how they made Snake Eyes a bad A**, they will definitely make Storm Shadow even more.

GI Joe Renegades is the best thing on GI Joe since RAH and Resolute. It's an awesome take on francise and the movie should have been done in the same manner. Flint is bad@$$ especially when he gets in Baroness's grill. But like always Snakeeyes steals the show. I like when Duke says 'you can't kill that thing with a sword' and Snake-eyes gets Dukes gun and starts shooting up the Viper. Great start to a great show. Wish it would come on later in the evening though.

Hated it...I though Resolute was amazing and when I heard they were making a new show I thought it would be in that style....but I just absolutely HATE the art style of Renegades...to the point it actually prevents me from enjoying this new show.

I'm with the previous two post's, the animation was horrible. I found it really hard to look at Duke's face for some reason. My eyes kind of went wonky seeing it, I think it's all the pale colors and weird angles.

The premise is kind of like the A-team or The Losers but with a set villain. Military guys framed for a crime they didn't commit.

I'll keep watching to see how it develops but there are way too many shows on my schedule to watch that are leagues better than this show.

Snake-eyes did rock but that's to be expected.

No contest, HUB animation was the weakest link last week. After watching Young Justice and FireBreather on Cartoon Network, G.I. Joe and Transformers seemed ugly and unpolished. I know they're new at this and WB has been doing cartoons since forever but honestly... It looked like Hasbro took the cheap route.

G.I. Joe looks kinda like a Adult Swim cartoon and Transformers Prime looks like it takes place in a town inhabited by only six people.

Megatron has a cool robot mode but his alt mode doesn't really look like anything. You can also see his head poking out of it.

The animation is a little funky. Kind of a poor man’s afro samurai but the writing and voice acting was rock solid.

Bottom line...I liked it. It’s pretty sad when a cartoon story like this one kicks the crap out of the big budget live action movie.
