Why did we have to make another one? Not up on the rules around here...

Thread Manager. It automatically closes the thread at about 1000 posts and creates a new topic and labels it "part 2". A lot of people round these parts don't particularly like it.

I thought that the ambush was done fairly poorly and they really changed up the conversation between Lady Stark and her sister (with Tyron Lannister there to see the kid suckling from his mothers teet)... Speaking of which...how do they get away with filming that?

I thought they did a good job of disabling Ned without having to do a big horse stunt/battle. I did like the one on one battle between the Lion and the Direwolf though.

Mmmmm...
Raw horse heart next week. Oh and a "crowning"

Let us hope the ceremony is as memorable as when I read it the first time.

Is that illegal where you live? :p

They have showed atleast three documentaries about mums who breast feed their children up until they are 8 years old on tv over recent years

Finally the excessive exposition is giving way to the actual plot. I really liked the first two episodes, but until the second half of this episode, the show has been treading water for 2 1/2 hours of nothing but exposition about "how my father betrayed your father 20 years ago and killed his brother's king the generation before that....oh and WINTER IS COMING! oooooooooooooh).

I jest, I jest. It's a great show, but it's nice to see it finally starting to move. BTW I know thanks to deadline posting he got a pilot for next season that....

[blackout]Sean Bean/Ned Stark likely dies this season because the actor cannot be in two shows. :( Don't tell me how or if I'm right. I just hope that Ned kills Jaimie Lannister before his time comes if that is to happen soon.[/blackout]

Great episode.

Man, I like Catelyn in the book, but in the show she is seriously pissing me off.

They were going to do another one on Salma Hayek's kid but he wouldn't stop bragging to the crew

I would think that the only way it would be legal to have a young kid like that actually sucking on an actresses boobs would be... if it were her kid. But some random kid sucking on another woman's nipple, I would think, borders on kiddie porn in some people's mind. I would assume that they probably had to green screen the 2 separate elements, then put them together in post.

They probably did green screen the sucking boob or atleast give him a prop.

But this show just gets better and better each week for me, i just dont want it end.

The young Tyron's scene was...interesting, as was that horse beheading. Looking forward to Viserys getting his crown.

Can anyone give me the details on a "red wedding" scene from the novels?

Too far ahead. It involves huge story elements involving people you don't even know yet and frankly, it would ruin it ... if you don't actually know the whole story (ie read it or wait and watch it).
