I'm all for Looney Tunes films but a Speedy Gonzales film? They should be doing a Daffy focused movie instead... I should send WB my idea haha...

The villain would be an old black and white cartoon character that is bitter about being forgotten after the transition to colour and in particular the popularity of Bugs Bunny. So he rallies old black and white cartoons together, kidnaps bugs and threatens to have him rubbed out.

The black and white character would set up Daffy, his motives been to take the spotlight once Bugs is out of the way. The Warner Brothers call upon the likes of Wyle E, Foghorn, Porky and Elmer to capture Daffy before anyone else goes missing.

Daffy, on the run, enlists the help of an animator (played by Zach Braff) and together they set out to find Bugs and clear his name.

I love WB cartoons, and hate how the PC fairies labeled them as racially (Speedy) and speech-impediment (Sylvester, Daffy, Elmer Fudd) insensitive.

i think Speedy got the bulk of the bash in the 90s. it's weird..it all happened in the 90s.

the funny thing is that I can bet most of the people who were complaining about the stereotypes in Looney Tunes grew up with them as well. it's like a betrayal.

not sure how this guy got so popular but he's not funny in the slightest, especially with his old cheesy dated jokes.

Geez what a stupid idea, I'd rather see the Speedy cartoon shorts on CN, who cares if their not PC, I don't think the animators had any malicious intent when they did them.

At least they picked a Hispanic actor and not some white voice actor doing what they think a Hispanic sounds like.

same here, i can't stand the guy. and nowadays his "jokes" just turn in to unnecessarily racist rants. and even if i did like the guy, i have no idea how his voice is going to fit the speedy character. i don't do this often, but pass on every level from me.
