Jim Parsons and Rihanna in Dreamworks' "Home"

I wonder if Rihanna gets to use autotune for voiceover work too.

Shockingly accurate. I'd still hit it though.

Wow, long dormant thread. Trailer is up. Today seems to be "new trailer day", everything seems have a trailer coming out today.

Haha, it's cute I guess. Nothing too creative, but I like Parsons and Rihanna is cool.

I love Jim Parsons voice. Fits nicely into animation. The director or writers have never done anything that I really enjoyed. The trailer has one or two humorous parts. I can see kids having fun with it.

main character is a black girl . hollywood is changing.:up:

I know right and she seems like she's gonna be really cool. It actually kind of makes sense why they got Rihanna for this her voice fits well with the character. I hope this is a success and other minorities are represented as leads in animated films.

AKA HOME.

I couldn't find the other thread for this but it's getting a 40 percent on RT.

My question is: Who is surprised by this? The film looks generic and from the looks of it, won't help to get Dreamworks out of their rut.

I hear Jim Parsons' voice in the TV spots, and just immediately never ever want to see this movie.

His hands are in the air like he just does not care.

I'll save my attention span and watch Lilo and stitch instead. I'll probably have a better time.

The only other movie that comes out that day is Get Hard.

Or you could see Cinderella for the umpteenth time, like you girlies are so apt to do. :oldrazz:

Seems like a better use of money than a Jim Parsons movie or a Will Ferrell movie that isn't Lego. :oldrazz:

Happy to see another film starring a young black female making bank though looking at the reviews I wish the film was better overall. They made 54 million this weekend.
