Unrelated but I'm taking the bus home and just happened to look out the window and saw a black man punch a white guy in the jaw, knock him down and walk off. If I had to guess I would say the white kid was drunk and ran his mouth off to the wrong guy haha. Happened outside of a Kwik-E-Mart and his friend just stood there looking at him like a moron

All I caught was the white guy getting his world rocked and the black guy saying something as he walked off and the white guy was on the ground. I've never heard of anyone playing the knockout game around here. I just thought it was funny how his friend was a straight up punk and just stood there looking at his friend on the ground. It was all very random. This black guy and myself on the bus had a good laugh about it though

Sorry, but you're mistaken. The irresponsible media certainly helped spread it on a viral level never seen before. But variations of the "knock out game" have been happening in New York since the '80's at least. It was called "wilding" back then. It was a bit different; not always a run-and-punch-unconscious thing, but definitely a run-and-randomly-assault-someone activity. Teens used to do it like crazy in Central Park after dark.

A post on the store's website said Mr Zimmerman painted it "in honour" of Mr Hallinan "for being a true patriot and leading the country into a better, safer America".

Is he so delusional that he thinks America is safer with him carrying a gun? Too bad I know a couple of those oh-so-scary blacks and Muslims I'd trust with a gun over him any day of the week.

Apparently someone else tweeted it first, along with the comment "Z-Man is a one man army", then Zimmerman himself retweeted it to his 10,000 + followers.

The fact that Zimmerman has 10,000 Twitter followers is disturbing enough in itself.

I'm not going to suggest Trayvon would've went on the be some selfless humanitarian but clearly the wrong person died that night.
