GIF program

Anyway, I've been wanting to have a program that can create GIF for a long time, but I don't know what programs are out there for this, and where to get them. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. I assume that these programs aren't cheap, and there is no freeware for GIF creations, right?

Check download.com or similar places for freeware of your specific needs of gif-making.

i would suggest Ulead Gif Animator... it's one of the most straight forward gif programs I've worked with.

well, you gotta pay for it... but it's definitely wort it.

and Ulead lets you make gifs from vids too
