so now that i've shown up for work turns out im not suppose to come back till june 27th when they said this was temporary i thought i was'nt going to keep the job for a long period, not work for about a month and come back 6 weeks later. lame!!!


i think im going to look for another job.

I wasn't trying to be funny.

I've never heard of a place that doesn't make it clear to new employees, the very nature of their job and the hours they'll be expected to be there....however, I've been at jobs where someone who was either really incompetent, or really disgusting, showed up for their first day, and we'd just flip around and tell 'em not to come in (as they did with you on Friday), or lie and say we were slow, or change the deal so that they wouldn't be getting enough hours, so they'd leave on their own, thus sparing us the awkward "conversation" about why we changed our mind and didn't want them there anymore.

And after hearing a lot of your stories, you've always struck me as one of those comicbook geeks who doesn't realize he stinks, just because his Mom never mentions it. *shrug*
