And while I hate EA as much as the next person, they have made good games from time to time. I never bought the Godfather on a diff. system but have played it a little and think it is extremely fun, if a little GTA dumbed down. Anyway, just look at how the game plays on the Wii (with more missions)....I am enticed enough (if the controls are really intutive this time from a 3rd party) to want this game. There would be such joys in baseball batting someone's skull with the Wii-mote. And they took a que from Zelda when it ocmes to aiming weapons. I'm impressed:

The only thing is THERE is no release date given! Gar! I hope it is soon like around March or so as it seems pretty far along into production though.

That looks pretty interesting.

whats funny is that I saw godfather on other systems and wasn't interested. but this really looks fun, way more than redsteel.

Looks interesting. Definitely better than Red Steel.

Can't wait for this one, but I'm still anxious for reviews, to find out if it lives up to the hype being built or not.

I'm not sure about this one, the version for the PS2 was garbage.

^You were just pressing buttons, now you can actually go Fredo on somebody.

This is what Wii is all about - taking games I normally don't give a hoot about and making me wanna buy them!

Those controls seem horribly unnatural.

What's so unnatural? You throw you're arms as if you're punching and use the wii-mote to swing weapons sand aim guns like how you aim arrows in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I mean it won't be great but if the controls are actually smooth (unlike Red Steel) it should feel quite natural.

Plus did you ever play the PS2 version? It seems more natural than the Fight Night style, really.

cool way to bring it to the Wii, I liked the PS2 version by the way

i didn't mind the Ps2 version, but to me it was just more of a game to pass the time while i was in my girlfriends when she was at work.

i'll wait for the reviews...

That must be some lenient office she works at. :wow:

hahaha, i didn't mean that.
my girlfriend lives away form home now, because she's at Uni, so i normally go up of a weekend and stuff.
sometimes she has to work while i'm up there though, so i just help out around the house and stuff.

she works in game though, so i get a cool discount. %30, actually.

I'm still lovin' it. Gamecube 1.5 has decided to remake games that everyone thought was a piece of crap because they think that people will buy them just to wield a lead pipe or a gun.

IGN gave it an 8.0 and called it the best version of the game.

I find it funny if this Gamecube 1.5, what is Xbox 360 or PS3 but boring upgrades of the previous company's systems for a ****load more money? At least Wii is doing something new that they can try and copy and steal from like and Microsoft always do (albeit I love my PS2).

Oh well.

Well i just picked it up and it turned a good game into a really ****ing good game. The combat system is great and is the first game since launch (besides WarioWare Smooth Moves) that prove why the Wii is such an amazing leap. It may be a "wii-make," but it is just not a port or a remake. It is a different experience than the PS2/Xbox/Xbox 360 games and it is BETTER. Much better.

The 360 and PS3 has better graphics and better internet options while the Wii's got the brain of a gamecube with a new controller.

You don't need better graphics for a game to be fun and enjoyable.
