I’m looking for movies similar to the following…

The Fountain
What Dreams May Come
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless Mind
Enter the Void
Inception

Emphasis on dreams, spirituality, death, memories, etc.

Any good suggestions? I'd appreciate it

Mulholland Dr. and Inland Empire.
Ah Lynch. Inland Empire is on my "Movies To Watch List" and I've seen Mulholland Dr. That movie was a total mind-fu*k.

Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate it.

Yeah, Inland Empire is a bigger mind****. Pretty much all of Lynch would fit. Empire and Eraserhead are like nightmares put to film.

I would also go with Brazil, Persona, Hour of the Wolf, 8 1/2, Stardust Memories, Naked Lunch, Being John Malkovich and A Scanner Darkly.

Inland Empire was a huge wtf for me. I'm not sure if I like it...it was a bit too incoherent and abstract for my taste. Where as, Mullholand Dr is simply AMAZING.

I also recommend Spirited Away, Akira, and Paprika. Those are all animated but they're all very good films.

Seconding Being John Malkovich. One of the most creative and out there movies I've ever seen.

I agree with the thoughts of Mulhollands Drive and Inland Empire. Both ****ed up films, but Inland Empire goes a bit too far down the rabbit hole for my liking. Loses focus and gets lost in itself.

Mulholland Drive is much more coherant, but is still pretty trippy.

I would also recommend any of Lynch's work.

Also, Waking Life.

Some good recommendations in here already so I'll just mention movies that haven't been said.

Heart of Glass and Where the Green Ants Dream from Herzog.

Through a Glass Darkly and Face to Face from Bergman.

From Herzog's movies I would also recommend Aguirre-Der Zorn Gottes, which is very surreal movie. Also his remake of Nosferatu is like a dream or better yet, a nightmare.
I would also go with Donnie Darko and Soderbergh's Solaris.

Ken Russell's 'Altered States'. Aye, he is a bit of a cheeseball, pretentious director*, but this one has enough quality in it to be recommended, and, y'know, it is still a bit pretentious, so it's a good laugh as well.
Basically it's about a scientist(played by William Hurt) who embarks on a series of experiments to explore altered states of conciousness, he meets up with tribespeople to get the lowdown on what psychedelics to take, and takes psychedelic drugs while in one of those sensory deprivation tanks, resulting in intense visions and some surprising physical results.

I have not seen it for many years, but I would say it is worth a watch, just, don't take it too seriously and you will enjoy it more.

(*his Uri Gellar biopic has to be seen to be believed, it is really terrible, but there is one scene that has to be seen, really funny, where Uri escapes from a military base, that has captured him and has been experimenting on him, it is probably quite a difficult film to track down so here is the scene...*spoilers*...he has this large metal helmet on that blocks his vision, but still he manages to use his powers of telekinesis to open doors and comandeer a jeep, he drives blindly through the base, his telekinesis bending the metal barrier blocking the enterance. He then drives the jeep at high speed back to his house, skids to a halt outside his front window, goes flying over the front of the jeer in a somersault, crashes through his front window, lands on his couch in his living room next to his friend who is sitting there, and high fives him.)

Vanilla Sky? Haven't watched that in a while I forgot what exactly it's about, but it's something like that...

I don't know if any of these are what your looking for but:

Pan's Labyrinth
Mirrormask
A Scanner Darkly
Dreamcatcher
Requiem for a dream
Twelve Monkey's
Lady in the Lake

Definitely try Franklyn and Donnie Darko
