Hey all.
I lack time to read books quite a bit, but I listen to podcasts and audio books.

I am looking for some good sci-fi books in audio? Obviously digital ones I can download...

Thoughts?

I enjoyed the Red/Black/White trilogy by Ted Dekker. Perhaps more fantasy that pure sci-fi and also has religious overtones so if your hostile towards that kinds of stuff you might not like it.

I'm listening to a Dresden Files book right now, Small Favor, this is for sure more fantasy than sci-fi, but halfway through and it's pretty entertaining.

And if you enjoy watersports or stories of the high sea you MUST try out The Proving Ground. It's a true recounting of the 1998 Sydney to Hobart ocean sailboat race. Unexpectedly a hurricane blows up in the middle of the race and it turns into a fight for survival that not everyone wins. Probably the most entertaining audio book to which I've ever listened.

The Star Wars Radio Dramas.
I hear Dresden Files is pretty good too.

Several Years ago I listened to the Star Wars radio drama were Luke went to the Dark Side - I recall it being pretty good.

I didn't know it when I posted, but there are almost a dozen Dresden Files book and ALL the audio books are read by James Marsters so I'm guessing there is some continuity through the presentation of the series. And he does a pretty good job as well.
