Google Chrome OS?

I was on Twitter today and I saw that Google is releasing something called "Google Chrome OS" which is basically a Google based operating system. Meaning it's a new "Windows" or "Mac" of sorts.

Anyways, I signed up for it. I'm really stoked for it.

i dont like chrome as a browser, but i was interested to see what the signup was for. beta testers etc

I'm using it right now, and it's kind of faster. What other functions does it make it special?

I don't know much about it, but I'm curious how fast, and what it can do. I'm thinking it's getting ready for the launch of "Bundled" Projects that they can charge for, and to make way for "Cloud Computing." But we shall see, in the end.
