I am emulating Mac System 7.8.3 on my Windows XP system with Basilisk II. I have some files I need to get into the "Mac's" volume, that is, the storage area for the emulated OS. All the files I download are in the .hqx format, naturally. So I need to use Stuffit Expander to open these on the "Mac" (I think. I'm kinda new to Mac stuff) It also is in the .hqx file extension. HFV Explorer can transfer these .hqx files to the "Mac" and put it in its readable format (again, I think) The major problem is that the files won't transfer! I get a message saying that the ".hqx file header couldn't be found". What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Have you tried Google with the search term of "HQX files header couldn't be found"? You'd be amazed of how much information you can find about any error prompt or strangely named file.
