got Wii Ware?

did anyone download any of the wii ware games yet... curious if there any good. i know im gonna get dr mario

The multiple channels and VC games are eating away at my memory that I have to pass on WiiWare for the time being

I just don't see Wii Ware becoming that big of a success, unless they can address the HD issue. I don't understand why Nintendo won't even considered selling an external HD for those of us who wanted bigger space or DLC.

I downloaded Defend Your Castle and my girlfriend wanted me to download Critter Round up (or whatever it's called)

Defend your castle gets old kind of quickly. It was fun for awhile but once you get way up in the levels it just hurts my wrist.

The critter one is actually pretty fun, it's challenging.

I might buy Lost Winds sometime soon, it looks like fun.

Nothing good has been released on VC in awhile.

ive been hearing a rumor lately that this xmas there will be one available. considering that the new guitar hero will have downloadable content... plus E3 rumors on what they are showing off... only main game that is a given is animal crossing, but a HD might be what big hard ware plans that have, like the wheel , and wii fit was.

I might get Dr. Mario sometime since I liked the original. However, as it stands right now, Wii Ware and the recent Virtual Console releases really don't tickle my fancy.

Honestly, I think Nintendo has something up its sleeve, since WiiWare is eating up alot of space...plus Guitar Hero IV and Samba De Amigo both will have downloadable content available.

I hope Nintendo does have something planned to address the problem, and it's not like it's difficult; just sell external HD that can expand the storage, and problem solved. Heck, charge $50-100 and it will still sell out. If Wii gains enough storage for DLC for games like Rock Band and GH4, it will extend the longitivity of this console.

i agree, and with sony comming back out with the 80 gig, and the rumors of a bluray xbox... theyll have to do somethin to keep up with out doing a whole new system

I like Nintendo, but the biggest problem I see they have over the years is that they are when it comes to technology, they are a bit out-of-touch. Like when N64 still use cartridges when PS1 was using CD, Gamecube's graphics fell behind both PS2 and XBox, and now Wii. Right now my concern is that with the runaway success of Wii, Nintendo may feel that they don't need to do anything and just keep the status quo.

Your mostly right, with the exception of the GC, which was slightly more powerful than the PS2 was...not less powerful.

I got Lostwinds. It is pretty good so far, it's pretty with good music. Reminds me of Abe's Oddessy a little.

You can put games on a SD card and store them, but in order to play them you must move them back onto the channels.. So put games you aren't playing onto the SD card.

That's what I have been doing.

It would be nice and convenient to be able to play them all on the main screen, but until they give us a solution (and I'm sure they will) I don't mind moving the games from SD card to Wii and back if you are done with the game right now and want to download something else...it's not that bad.

That's what I've been doing as well. I back up all my games on the SD card, VC and Wiiware, and copy them back to the Wii when I want them on there.
So far I have:

Lost Winds
Pop
TV Show King
Defend Your Castle
Star Soldier R
Toki Tori

All are pretty good-- except for Star Soldier R. It sucks @$$.
