Gotham City Impostors

This seems like a really, really stupid use of the Batman license. I mean do we really need this? I mean it really wasnt that long ago that Batman Forever and Batman and Robin almost destroyed the franchise. More 'Dark Knight', less everything else.

This is what happens when something is popular. The license gets ****ed out. Although, I might check this out. If it's a solid shooter and only 10 bucks, I might try it...

I think the concept is cool. I like the art. I can't wait to see how it plays.

Yeah, that's beyond silly. Batman has been kicking ass since the 30s. I highly doubt the franchise will be destroyed just because someone doesn't like this game.

Seriously, if this is TF2 in the Batman Universe... Why not? Some people also said The Brave and the Bold would ruin Batman. Turns out, that show is really cool.

Batman should probably be serious. He has a batcave and dresses as a bat.
I like the many takes on Batman, even Batman And Robin.

At least he's moved beyond the "underoo's on the outside of the costume" thing.

I think this game would have probably been more interesting if it was characters directly from 60's show.
How cool would that have been? Running around as Adam West? With bat repellent shark spray.

Eggman DLC would be eggcellent. Make it happen Monolith I would be eggstatic.

I would play that game.

That concept art just doesn't look very promising. If they have better options, like decking out you 'Batmanz' in some...I dunno, "Big Daddy"-eque armor (Kick-Ass) or make it look like low-grade military style...I could be interested.

Kilt Man, Jeans and Jersey Man, Hillbilly Man...they've got an uphill battle with me. Just knowing Arkham City is around the corner, allows me to deal with this.

I'll be getting this day 1. Looks like a fun way to spend time in anticipation of the dark knight rises.

This looks pretty cool, I won't be buying it though.

Team Fortress 2 is free2play, I don't see much point is getting in unless it's at a super budget price and of the same quility (which it wont be).

Here's a reason to buy this and not TF2.... TF2 is a PC game... I can not play it on my Xbox and don't feel like hooking up my PC to the TV.

Plus, if TF2 is as ridiculous with player lag as it was the last time I played it... No thanks.

It's too bad you aren't platform agnostic like me.
It's pretty awsome.

and don't feel like hooking up my PC to the TV.

Yea because i'm sure you'll do well with a control pad.

And that's why we have dedicated servers.
24 ping yum yums.

You're not platform agnostic? Really? Really?

*cough*pc****emuch?*cough?*

;)

I mainly play most of my games on the pc because most console games are on the pc and generally better. That doesn't stop them being console games. There's really no point in me buying the hardware for something like 6-12 hyped exclusive titles. Most of them like Gears Of War and Halo don't interest me. The problem with consoles isn't console games, it's pc games being pillaged and turned into lobotomized hybrid console/pc games which I deeply dislike. I can understand it, means more sales, doesn't mean I have to like it.

Besides the point, For me personally, when I have the option of Team Fortress 2 thats now sitting with 50 odd maps and a bunch of updates
that contuies to be updated which is, depending on you want it, free. Why would I opt to pay £20 for this which, in all likelyhood will launch with something like 4-8 maps and might die off fairly fast. Outside of MMO's free2play games have generally been fairly low quility, even including the Battlefield games. With the exception of probably dota type games. Team Fortress 2 has shown that a high quility game can use that model and has actually lead us to Jerusalem. Given the option, I would rather all multiplayer focused games used a similar model than £39 for a single player I don't give a crap about with a new game out every X months. I think this will happen but it's going to take time, at the moment free2play games are mostly garbage, but this is a step in the right direction.

It doesn't really seem to be 60's campy cartoon fun either. They just seem to be somewhat dislikable Jackass characters shouting crude words. Which I guess is suppose to be hilarious and charming? Obviously Everyone loves idiotic teenagers shouting crude words, it's really witty and down with the kids who still watch Beavis And Butthead, as this is clearly 1992.

It's a trailer showcasing the obnoxious fun you can have, the article says YOU create your own character, it doesn't say you have to play the characters in the trailer (which I'm assuming aren't even official playable characters).
