The Dark Knight Gotham Tonight episode available now!

Sweet! And I meant Albert Rossi earlier, not Maroni...He he, got too excited...

*blushes*

watching indiana jones on USA right now, and a GCN news brief came on! it was awesome. AMH talking about dent's victory, and it cut to a clip of Bruce Wayne eating at some bar, saying he doesn't care about Dent and what he's trying to do.

I wonder how many of these little videos were made. is there a full episode available, or is it all just these little clips so far?

Well this is irritating, Comcast in my area hasn't setup channel 1 yet (even though they bought out our area about a year ago), guess I'll have to settle for watching it on the computer.

I hope to catch one of these GCN TV spots.

Watching Gotham Tonight in good quality on Monday won't be bad either. :o
Myron Gornager... wasnt he they mayor during contagion and legacy?
That was Marion Grange. :batty:

I guess we now know why the GothamCityClerk.com site hasn't been updated. Myron Goranger has been hitting the sauce. :)

Thanks! I flipped to USA after you said that and one of the clips just came on.

i can't wait for next weeks episode...since Mike Engel clearly said their doing one on Bruce next week, and Dent the next...

damn you Dish network...hopefully Anita can post the others like this one

I'm going to be in the minority here BUT...that was 7 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Some of the dumbest **** I've ever seen. All that back and forth pointless banter. Who gives a flying f**k? It wasn't even entertaining. BORING. I hope there are no sections of the movie like that.

No one forced you too watch it. Unless they did. Which would be hilarious.

I've heard people suggest that Engel could be the Riddler. I see no evidence of this. All I see is a typical smarmy showbiz type whose role is unclear.
All in all it was a good little show. And I'm hoping to see the Citizens For Batman stuff brought up. As well as the sudden clown epidemic.

* Harvey Dent thanks “brave citizens of Gotham for their critical help during this campaign”
* Chaos in Granton due to ballot shortages
* Pay rise for Gotham cops trailing 59-41
* Casino gambling measure leading 54-46
* Exit Poll: Number one issue on voters mind is fighting violent crime
* Acting DA Roger Garcetti wins only three voting districts
* Mayor Garcia honors Gotham Girl Guides in city hall ceremony
* Loeb: “Gotham surveillance cameras a major reason for drop in crime
* Myron Goranger resigns as city clerk after public drunkenness arrest
* GDP: Citizens for Batman “A subversive group”
* “White Knight” musical planned by Dent supporter

Granton? thats my district! well, acording to my voter card that didnt work.... i geuss thats why it didnt work for me.

:boba:

i wonder why theyre letting the crappy youtube versions stay up now

Since the trailer on April 28th was when I first really got into it. I wasn't forced to watch it either, I compusively feel the need to watch every little TV spot, etc. associated with The Dark Knight. The whole thing just seemed very canned and fake. I watch real news and I don't think people argue like that back and forth all the time and at the end when the guy "slipped" something by accident before going off air...that NEVER happens. Also, no one makes this much of a deal out of a district attorney election either. It's not like president. It seemed almost more of a spoof on the presidential campaign newsroom discussions than an actual piece of viral marketing. I realize it revealed a bit about the crime bosses, etc. but I'm sure that I along with many other people only care to hear about the Joker.

As far as Engel being the Riddler, he certainly looks the part and that was what I was expecting watching the clip. He's certainly in a good position to do real harm to batman, the city, etc. being a news anchor. One thing to keep in mind though is Nolan so far has not changed the real names of any of the villians to date. Crane=Scarecrow, Harvey Dent=Two Face (or Harvey Two Face close enough). Riddler is Edward Nygma. Perhaps Engel's role in the series is prominent, but not a serious villian.

You apparently don't watch Hardball or Bill O'Reilly (it's not an insult if you don't). That stuff happens all the time. That is the type of show that Gotham Tonight is supposed to be.

When the crime is as bad as it is in Gotham, the run for DA IS a big deal. Crime is THE most important issue in Gotham.

This I agree with. Engel is not Riddler, that theory can finally be debunked. It's possible that Engel might be more than just a journalist, but there are no clues to that yet.

Well, it is a valid opinion, like all opinions. But I really don't mind if what happened wasn't frantic and overwhelming. I don't think every single event in the virals should make us head to the streets and look for clues, though it is indeed fun when it happens. I like these things that bring Gotham to life. It's a strange feeling and I'm not sure I can explain it very well in English (which is not my native language, hence the difficulty and clumsy use of words). But it's kinda weird and cool to know that Gotham is not real but then you turn on your tv and there it is, an evening show with candidates arguing over the election and Batman... I mean, it is REALLY fun to me!!

And unless the pizzeria thing proves to be more than sweepstakes, the Gotham Tonight will share the first place, along with the elections, as the most interesting part of the virals this week, IMHO.

Sorry if this is really late, but did comcast take it down? I've seached ondemand, and i can only get the trailer.....

No. There's a seperate section under movies and events titled "THE DARK KNIGHT" with all the featurettes (the clown masks, etc.)

That was great, you're awesome Anita.:up:

I just saw that update too (different station though). I haven't been paying much attention to TDK lately (sort of on lockdown mode avoiding spoilers), but when that came on during the commercials I was laughing so much couldn't hear what Bruce Wayne was saying. :hehe:

Thanks to y'all providing the downloads.
