you hate WB when they had the balls to release a movie like this? Be happy that it exist, dark b.

its not realesed..........................not yet :)

this movie doesnt have to bomb. they could start promoting it. a teaser trailer, poster and 2 pics from Bullock and Clooney.

Sounds great. Now about that trailer...

So Clooney *is* stranded up there with Bullock. Something I read led me to believe he was the ground control guy trying to help her survive.

Maybe they'll leak us a set pic sometime in the next decade.

I've gotten the impression that [blackout]he simply dies early on[/blackout].

dude, cant wait to watch the trailer after this description

Looking at the release schedule, both September and October have several films opening apiece (3-4 for the most part) for most of the weekends. Absolutely packed. I notice they're actively avoiding the first weekend of September and December, but releasing 3-4 movies a week is crowding the marketplace.

Surely they can space them out further. I think with three other movies opening with it, I fear Gravity is gonna be lost in the shuffle. Maybe it can do great in its current October 4 spot, but I don't know.

Gravity always gets me down...

:rimshot:
Thank you, and yes, I'm here all week. :oldrazz:

Seriously though, really looking forward to seeing this. And if the release date sticks, it will be out on my birthday!

From ET's website:

This Thursday ET is debuting the first trailer for the highly anticipated Gravity starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock

Teasers of Trailers are a plague upon humanity.

They're pretty stupid but I can only conclude that people respond because they've been doing them for a few years now.

That said that sample looked pretty *****in'. There's not much that scares me more than the thought of floating helplessly in space. I had nightmares about Jon Favreau's character's fate in Deep Impact *shivers*

Glad the things finally coming out, seems like it's taken forever for this one.

Gotta say, nothing about this movie sounds interesting to me. Maybe the trailer will change my mind, but right now it just sounds like Apollo 13 with the stakes raised a bit.

The way ET presented this it made it seem like a comedy. Clooney's nonchalant delivery of "terrific" didn't help.

Here's hoping it's just ET stupid format of presenting films.

You almost have to assume that when dealing with something like ET. They do that all the time.

normal wednesday

not anymore

I feel like after Great Expectations, Cuaron hasn't looked like he knows how to use Lubezki's full powers (and yes, I've seen Children of Men). This thing looks quasi-animated and quite removed from the beautiful space cinematography of The Tree of Life. Hopefully the full trailer in HD changes that impression.

It seems like 90 % of the whole thing is basically CG, I fear. That short teaser doesnt look great.

God, Alfonso Cuaron is so overrated, he's considered as one of the greatest directors by some, on virtue of Children Of Men (which is overrated as well).
