I'm sorry but couldn't they have picked a name besides Ryan for Bullock's character?

New Trailer!

Word to the wise, don't watch the first 15 seconds seconds of this trailer full blast with headphones on...

i dunno if i can take that in a theater...honestly I got claustrophobic feelings only by watching the trailer...

its kinda like the reverse of these movies where someone is buried alive in a box..only the box is infinite

New trailer is much better than the teaser gives a much better insight on the film's tone, after Cameron's comments I'm actually intrigued a bit.

The new trailer is impressive, my interest in this film is finally piqued.

Bleh, this just doesnt look good to me. Bullock is annoying and god awful in just these 2 minutes, I can't imagine what she will be like in 2 hours. It looks like its a movie about the 2 worst astronauts in the history of space travel.

Sandra Bullock's gasping and screaming is going to get old really fast.

i cant possibly imagine this movie being anywhere near as good as 2001. but, this does look good, and if its even half as good as 2001 i'll be pleased.

Yes, how dare a woman who's hurtling through space with no way to stop herself scream and gasp, it's not like anyone would be absolutely terrified in that situation or anything.

so...what...is the movie mainly just about her floating around and people trying to rescue her?

This already looks better than 2001 but that's just me.

2001 was boring. I hope this isn't boring. In fact, it looks super thrilling!

She may be hurtling but they are trained to stay calm throughout no matter what happens. Yeah its a ridiculously terrifying situation but panicing doesn't help. Also you can slow yourself down and change momentum using your body, theyre mostly taught that as well.

Ummmm... I would be screaming my ass off. Even if I was a trained astronaut.

Don't think she is a trained/seasoned astronaut, she's a doctor/scientist that's on her first mission. Clooney is the one who knows what he's doing hence why he's coaching her what to do.
