Greatest Directors of All Time

Nolan is already 10 times better then Singer and Raimi.

Raimi is just a B-Movie Director for me.

I'll even give Michael Bay a nod. Not for greatest director of all time, but perhaps one of the best action directors out there. Gotta love "The Rock" "Armageddon" (Fun movie) and "Transformers".

When I heard Michael Bay was directing "Transformers," I really had no feelings bout it one way or the other. I felt bad for the guy when I heard he received death threats.

dont forget the bad boys movies

hopefully bad boys 3 is next

I never seen a B-movie cost $258 million dollars.

P.S. Just you all wait, Nolan's gonna screw up soon and when he does, I can see the mass suicides happening.

I agree. Wait and see. If nolan screws up, or does something the fanboys don't particularly like, they'll just call him a hack and say "REBOOT!". And then they'll move onto the next "god." Jesus, it's just one bad egg of the bunch. They seem to forget about their other great films and what their capable of. Like Raimi (Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man, the Evil Dead films), Singer (The Usual Suspects, X2) and Jackson (One of the freaking greatest trilogies of all time)

thats ******ed compare Spiderman 1 &2 and all the Evil Dead movies to anything Nolan has done and they all look like Uwe Boll flicks. I do agree about Singer though he is a good director but still not as good as Nolan. And for the record Im not a Nolan fanboy i could care less honestly I just give credit where credit is due and 2 of his movies are in my top 10 of all time so hes doing something right. But if he makes a movie that bombs i could really care less

i'm writing a paper on it while we speak :word:
I have one on A History of Voilence if you're interested. It contains references to Videodrome and The Fly and Cronenbergs themes of body horror as well as his use of visual symbolism.

Nice list.

Stanley Kubrick
Kryztoff Kieslowski
Vittorio De Sica
Federico Fellini
Luis Brunel
Orson Welles
Francois Truffaut
Roman Polinski
Michealangilo Antonioni
Martin Scorsese
Ingmar Bergman
Andrei Tarkovsky
Nice!!! :woot:
