I started a similar thread for cbms but it occurred to me that there are a lot better examples of great cameos out there in the wider cinematic world.
IMO a cameo is a short one-off appearance in a film ( as distinct from a small supporting role). If I'm wrong, I can live with that.
For me, my 2 favorite cameos both involve Christopher Walken
1) Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction as Captain Koons, who carried the watch....
2) Christopher Walken in True Romance as Vincenzo Coccoti, who threatens Dennis Hopper....
Some other favorites of mine include:

- Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore
- Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder...probably the funniest cameo of all time.
