Does anyone think this series is more suited to Kyle Rayner than Hal Jordan?

Nope. Always saw Kyle as a loner. The whole "Last of the Green Lanterns" deal. The space patrol deal is perfect for Hal while John Stewart is a Leaguer and Guy Gardner is Warrior (or an Honor Lantern with Kyle). I guess I just can't see anybody else teamed with Kilowog.

...Okay, maybe Guy Gardner but MAN would that be an unlikable lead.

It was great to see The Thanagarians today! Hopefully in the future we'll see Carter Hall making an appearance.

The latest episode marks the appearance of the Thanagarians who are jailed in the returning prison place. After learning that the Red Lanterns are trying to cross over to Guardian space, both sides need the code to break the asteroid barrier between the two spaces. This episode has the Green Lanterns without their powers throughout the whole thing. Hal and Kilowog stood out in this episode as Razer and Aya didn't do much. With the appearance of the Thanagarians, I was hoping we'd see Carter Hall, Shiera Saunders, Katar Hol, and/or Shayera Thal. This would've mark a superhero crossover between Green Lantern and Hawkman. Good episode as this starts the Red Lantern story-arc for the first half of the season.

This show to me is just firmly "Good," never "Great." Which is not an insult or necessarily a bad thing. I enjoy this show. It just never goes that extra mile to being fantastic.

I never had watched the show before today. Man I was really missing out. This show is really good. I've seen every episode except the most recent one. My favorite ep is definitely Regime Change.

Invasion has Hal and Co. battling the Red Lanterns over control of the space lighthouse that opens and closes the asteroid barrier between Guardian space and Red Lantern space. Eventually, both sides got through as Atrocitus used the Liberators to make a permanent opening between both zones. Aya has stepped up big time in this episode while Saint Walker climbs up to become the first Blue Lantern. A good penultimate episode before the mid-season finale.

Yeah, this is the show that makes me go "I wish someone would make a movie about this...Oh, wait." on a weekly basis. It's a fantastic and very well written show. I can't wait to see how Hal gets em out of this one. I have a feeling Saint Walker will play a big role in that.

I was in the camp that understood why Green Lantern 1 was set mostly on Earth. However for a sequel I would have loved for them to go the route of this series and make it about a spaceship. Put Hal, Guy, and John on the ship. Maybe even Aya, I like her

Another damn fine episode. The "crap we're screwed" look on Hal's face & the sound of utter defeat in his voice was great.

I hope that Queen Iolande, Saint Walker, Star Sapphires, and Mogo aid Hal and the others against the Red Lanterns in Homecoming.

the ONLY thing that bothers me is Mogo's voice.

its like they called in a voice actor from Superfriends and said HEY DO THIS.

a DEEP calming echoing voice should be Mogos voice...

The second one. But I assume this Red Lantern arc will end with the next episode.

I wonder where they'll go after the Red Lantern arc. They'll still be around obviously, but they can't be the main villains forever. And GL has never really has a consistently good rogue gallery.
