Some people are theorizing GotG being folded into or incorporating Planet Hulk. What do some of you think? I personally wouldn't mind.

The Planet Hulk storyline is way after my time so I can't comment specifically on that but I have no objections to Hulk being the link between the GotG and Avengers movies. The challenge is doing it in a way that it doesn't turn into a Hulk movie. Big green rage monsters have a habit of dominating the action.

I am thinking Planet Hulk for GotG2 is likely. The Guardians are very far removed from Earth. In order to bring them into the Infinity War, I can see them running into the Hulk and giving the Hulk a ride home to Earth. Just in time for the Infinity War!

Misdirection is a thing.

Personally, I'd rather they not use Planet Hulk - that story is too big to be condensed into a GOTG film... but then again, they're doing CIVIL WAR in one movie so who knows.

Should know by now that marvel likes to make variations of famous story lines. I really feel like civil war will be similar to thr comics in theme and INO. If marvel did planet hulk i have no doubt it'd be the same.

I can't think of any good villains for the Guardians for this sequel aside from Kang.

Yes, he very bluntly called those rumors bull*****, and at DragonCon he said he doesn't plan on there being any other Earthlings besides Star-Lord in GoTG 2.

I like the Hulk but I wouldn't want him in GoTG 2 either, I think the Guardians have proven they can sell without needing a guest appearance from an Avenger, and there's a lot of stuff that GoTG 2 can follow up on from the first (for instance, I'd like to see Nebula come back).

I'd rather see that storyline be a Hulk solo and not be mashed together with guardians.

It would have to be mostly CGI. It would cost a fortune. I doubt they'll do it after the first 2 Hulk films did poorly in comparison.

The difference between the first two hulk films and now is the demand. People fell in love with hulk after Avengers, he was the most well received character and fans and public alike have been clamoring for a Ruffalo led Hulk film.

I only wanted PH if it worked within the structure of the MCU, the Guardians/Hulk crossover was a brilliant idea imo. But i know its not happening.

I'm a Nova fan too, but Gunn has pooh-poohed the character and doesn't appear to have much inclination to include him. Obviously he could get over-ruled but I'd rather he skip Nova than be forced to include him when he doesn't want to.

OTOH Warlock was teased heavily in GotG. And I would think they'd want him around for the Infinity Wars. So I'd be shocked if he didn't at least get introduced in GotG2.

I still think nova has plenty of potential. Just needs to be worked in smoothly

Nova was the breakout of annihilation. Tons of potential.

They could include a Worldmind on Xandar after the attack by Ronan as an A.I to help protect and guide them and then introduce Nova, kill Xandar and have Wolrdmind implanted into rich

Yes. Nova > Gunn

He doesn't have to include him just introduce him in the post-credit or as a cameo then give Nova a movie
