I don't really get why Moridius needed to give her a bionic arm to fix her mental problems. Speaking of Moridius, I find it even stranger we never see him again after this. And he was such a badass talking down Geatar too.
And Nebula is fully back with a badass longcoat. Maybe that's where they got the idea to give Yondu and Star-Lord long coats in the film? All space pirates wear long coats.
I forgot Nebula was a villain. I've started to root for her and Geatar lol. Well, they managed to escape Annoval but lost the crew they came to get in the first place...but at least the have each other. <3
And this is the last Silver Surfer comic Nebula is in even though he vowed to cross paths with her again. Will be interesting to see how that shakes out.
And Nebula's storyline picks up here. She's on the Martian moon Phobos and has gathered a large crew to take out Titan for her revenge. Strange gets War Machine and Thunderstrike to help Surfer but...Nebula still ends up defeating him and strapping him to a fusion reactor bomb aimed for Titan.
And after all that Nebula and Geatar just end up back in a Titan cell. And they're still dumb enough to put them in the same cell, lol. Well, I don't like how they resolved her story, wish she would have had more of a better wrap up.
Well, she shows up in Silver Surfer 110 after this...
Well this was a cluster****. First time Nebula showed up in 4 years so I guess it's to be expected she's more or less been completely retconned...everything that happened between Infinity Gauntlet and Silver Surfer 110 appears to be thrown out. And Rich apparently kills a woman's husband by accident because of domestic abuse...lol.
Well, Nebula shows up again in Annihilation: Ronan...but I'll do that with Ronan's issues, obviously. Which I start on tomorrow.
Interesting, the FF destroyed a Kree sentry which resulted in the Great Intelligence ordering an attack on them. I could see Thanos doing something similar in retaliation to the Avengers sometime down the line.
Ronan didn't do much here just showed up in the last page plotting something with Yon-Rogg, and not necessarily against Mar-Vell, although he rebelled against the Kree.
This book is really good. And I was mistake, Mar-Vell hasn't rebelled against the Kree yet, but he's having trouble with his urges to protect Earth and following the orders given to him. For now Ronan, has decided they'll let his future actions speak for themselves than prosecute him prematurely as Yon-Rogg wanted.
Ronan and Zarek's plot are revealed to Mar-Vell and we get a run down on the history/difference between blue and pink Kree. Ronan gets defeated by the Kree Super Sentry and captured by the Supreme Intelligence's men. Mar-Vell finally gets his iconic costume. This is the last time Ronan appears until 1971.
Ronan didn't have much of a presence besides being brought up in a trial to indict Captain Marvel for the alien invasion attempt. And lol Quicksilver is very sexist.
