Yes, yours truly. Taking off for New York today and will be doing touristy stuff until Monday (so news on main might be a bit slower as I won't be in front of a computer at all times). Gonna try to wear a Superhero Hype! T-shirt to the premiere (if they'll let me! ) (this one - http://www.cafepress.com/shh.115783027) with a jacket so I won't look like a total geek, hehe...

Anyways, if you are going to check out the premiere, look for me and if you see me, yell "MIRKO!!" (that's meer ko, kinda like meerkat).

Does that mean your not going to Anime Matsuri this weekend in Houston? Peter Cullen is going to be there as the special guest. They are bringing footage of the Transformers Movie.

So, I finally got back. Sorry for the lack of updates on the site, but it's been a wild ride (both as a tourist and Spidey premiere guest) the last five days! Saw the movie and it freaking rocks. Whoever says it sucks needs help. It's definitely on par with the 2nd one methinks. The special effects alone are worth the admission ticket.

I would say that would still be sitting in the theater with Sam Raimi and Laura Ziskin next to me in an empty theater on the Sony lot getting an exclusive first look at the first teaser trailer (that was pulled) for the first Spidey movie. This, however, was definitely, WAY up there.

Wow, so you're back now? Considering how big of a fan you are, I am REALLY interested to know how the film stacks up with the rest of the Spidey films. Do you agree with any of the complaints that some of the negative reviews have mentioned? My biggest concern is that of Richard Roeper's review, who loved the first two, but was greatly disappointed with this one.

I am very, very excited for this film. Got my tickets over the weekend and am now jamming to the SM3 soundtrack!

WOW, that's what I wanted to hear

Do I agree with his comments? Nope. Besides I hate it when reviewers spoil stuff, which he definitely does in this review.

on par with spidey 2....oh great that means it's a poor character developed film with weak villain motivations and conclusions and is carried along because of the effects with spidey being unmasked every 2 seconds...

oh well, i guess i should start putting my hopes in Bay...*gulp*
