Watched the first episodes of The Lowdown — in which Ryan Kiera Armstrong has a supporting role. (She plays Ethan Hawke’s daughter.) I had never seen Armstrong in anything; but she seems to be a decent enough young actor. Though… it’s hard to tell whether she’ll be able to carry a series on her own, as the new Slayer.

She also got her masters in clinical mental health counseling. So, she is likely not looking at acting as a main career at this point.
