I guess this is joining Aladdin as another bizarre outlier in Ritchie’s filmography. Very vanilla looking movie.

I dunno, I like the cast and I think it looks fun. Krasinski is a good fit for these nerdy action hero roles, Portman is always great unless George Lucas is writing her dialogue and Eiza always plays a good badass. The only wildcard here is Ritchie IMO, who isn’t always good when he steps out of his comfort zone but I feel like he displayed some maturity as a director in The Gentleman (TV series) so hopefully he’s continued to grow.

It looks like a solid kind of old school adventure movie to me, the kind we don't see that often anymore. I'm into Richie's most films so hopefully he delivers here as well.

It looks good fun and a return to that 80s swashbuckling/adventure type movie. Years ago I never would have pegged Krasinski as someone cut out for action or serious roles, but after seeing the likes of Jack Ryan and A Quiet Place, I can fully buy into him as an Indiana Jones type. Will definitely go and see this.
