I don't quite understand what the unit did to the Gregole at the end of their confrontation. Did the unit crush it's head entirely? I liked the old finishing move better. Just take his head-horn and chin-horn and twist it until it snaps. And why the long-ass pause?

So, would you guys say The Guyver is the most powerful, popular, or only sci-fi superhero? I'd say he's the most powerful and practically the only sci-fi superhero. I made a thread about this and peeps brought up other characters that were similar.

Yeah he is the most powerful sci-fi superhero. Plus his story is alot more interesting then many mainstream heros. He's a hesitant hero, given great power that he dosen't want but must utilize to protect the innocent. They should make a big budget movie about him instead of other lame heros.

The unit did indeed crush the Gregole's head completely. In the older series, he snapped his neck and in Out of Control, Guyver 1 crushed Gregole's horn and then cut his head off.

I just felt like stating it. :P

Id love 2 c a more than decent attempt at making a proper film for the guyver, I have only seen the dark hero guyver film,not the first one and I thought it was nothing compared to the animated series at all.
Does anyone know if there are rumours of a new guyver film being produced at the moment or soon?

Well not lame as in completly suck ass but they sink hundreds of millions of dollars in movies that arn't anywhere near as interesting as guyver. Jenifer Garner looks godd but Elektra sucked and that cost what, 70-80 mil to make. Guyver 2: Dark Hero had like a 5 mill budget and was spectacular. I liked stealth but it cost 138 mil and so far has made I think 15 mill. If they can make 2Fast2Furious, XXX2, Doom, Resident Evil, Dead or Alive and even Mortal Komabt 3! Some company can give Steve Wang 50 mill to make a Guyver movie with kick ass fights and some CGI. Mabey this new series will spawn a movie down the road.

I've been asking GuyverJay for info on this but he just ignores me. This is why I pissed him off when I didn't use the GG armor in a cross-over fight with Juggernaut and Magneto. I didn't know what the power extent of the GG was then and I don't fully understand it now. If I don't know their face-value powers and abilities and weaknesses then I can't make a story fan-fic.

Those were some good examples. Well, Guyver has withstanded the test of time so I think it won't be left alone by live-action movies. I mean we were lucky to get two, count them, TWO! live-action movies. I have never seen that kind of interest, in an Anime, taken so far in an American production. Or was it Canadian? oh, who cares about the details?!. The point is that we will see more hot-shot directors wanting to make movies out of popular Anime characters. Guyver is the only one in his class, aside from 8-man and that chick from Ghost in the shell. But he's a different kind of sco-fi superhero. His power did not originate on earth. The Guyver is live-action material. Any director could just look it up and see two attempts were already made and it already has potential.

thanks. Honestly, twenty minutes or less. If I wanted it to be really good then I'd spend some more time on it.

I've seen some other guyver forums, but it seems that if anyone even talks about the new guyver series they get a strike or a warning or something like that,pretty pathetic I think.

Don't expect that. Or you'll be VERY disapponited. This saturday is the fight against Vamore. The saturday after should be the fight against Guyver 2.

Hmmmmmmm it seems that they are stretching it out a bit. FIne by me hopefuly he will kill vamore with the mega smasher and then kill 6-7 zoanoids in hand to hand combat. Where can I find the episode guide?

Btw those of you who are looking forward to seeing Arkenphal in action might be dissapointed. This series only goes up to the fight between sho and his father/enzyme 2 apparently. So maybe the intro is exactly that, and we'll maybe see more of the zoalords in the next series?

it'l be a realy big let down if it is,but I don't see how they can stretch 12 episodes in to 26, wouldn't they lose a lot of interest, seeing as every1 will kow whats goin 2 happen, but it will happen at a much slower pace.

Well they seem to adding a little to it to stretch it out. I just hope it goes past the episode with Arkenphal. It's more than likely that they will make two seasons at least.

no way they can stretch 12 into 26. There is just no way!. Besides, The last episode ended with the death of Aptom and the Guyver overcoming his bio-boost impotence.

I thought that this new series would follow the manga more closely, no??? The original series was pretty much a condensed (though somewhat altered) version of the manga. I can see this series being stretched from 12 eps. to 26 eps., they can just fill it in with what the original series missed from the manga (like Sho's clone story for example) If it follows the manga more closely, 26 eps. should be easy.
