Hack/Slash

EXCL: Megan Fox - Cassie Hack?

The mind reels with possibilities when it comes down to this: Who has the chops to play Cassic Hack in Rogue Pictures' upcoming Hack/Slash - the feature film directed by Todd Lincoln based on the monthly Devil's Due comic book? I mean, we all have our faves, but this...this just sounds so right.

A source tells ShockTillYouDrop.com that Transformers' Megan Fox is incredibly interested in the role of Hack, a slayer of slashers. When we look at the comparison pic below, we say Y-E-S.

Now, this is the film where we can truly judge her acting (yeah, I'm calling all of you out who said that Megan Fox sucked in Transformers).

hope she cuts her hair. i think it'd be a good look for her...

Stefano Caseli? As in artist for Avengers The Initiative Stefano Caseli?

She'll do. Fox has the look, and Cassie Hack isn't a character that needs a Shakespearan stage vet or anything. She's mostly pissed off or emotionally confused, with very few beats in between.

It'll be interesting to see who they get for Vlad.

You would think this material was A-list. It's based off of B-horror as long as she looks like the part, her acting really doesn't matter that much. It's Hollywood casting by the current hottie of the moment and it works especially for this series because it could mean sequels.

How can you guys argue that acting doesn't really matter?

Have you lost your minds!?!?

I admit, Meagan Fox in that comparative picture looks the part. But I saw her in Transformers, and she was one of the only elements that took away from the awesomeness of that flick. Her delivery was bone dry, she sucks, get your damn judgements out of your ***** for christsakes!

These are really cool characters, it could potentially be a great franchise, but people won't keep going if the principle actress can't act her way out of a wet paper bag!

Someone on imdb suggested Eliza Patricia Dushku, she's been in a few good films and apparently she can act, all gothed up she wouldn't be too far off.

Even then, the look doesn't have to be 100% spot on so long as the acting can carry the character. There aren't too many movies with chicks for heros in them, so for the few that come along, it be cool to have them be good ones.

Oh btw, this should be moved to the Misc. Comic Film thread!
