Why not just release the MCC on PlayStation? Why remake CE again?

This way they can modernise it and make other changes to justify charging full price for a re-release of a 25 year old game.

Also, CE Anniversary leaves a LOT to be desired. The gameplay of the original is timeless, but that whole remaster was rather poor. 343 completely changed the art style and atmosphere of much of the game. They basically ruined 343 Guilty Spark. From what we have seen so far, this remake seems to do the atmosphere, vibe, and visual style of the original better justice.

If it retains the split screen co-op, then I’ll consider buying it used because I don’t wanna give Microsoft any of my money
