Yes, it's hard to deny that fact, but the signing of the Declaration of Independence is more of a definate, concrete date. Especially since there were little uprisings all through the 1760's.

Yay! Today we celebrate the revoultion we started 230 years ago because we ddint want to pay taxes and be free!!!!! Yay! The day we became our own country even though it wasnt our country in the first place and we killed thousands of native americans, french, mexicans, and others to get this land that didnt belong to us in the first place YAY!!!!!!
