As one of the old timers around here on the Hype, I've seen the ebb and flow of participation. Right now we are in an ebb , but hey, 2012 is around the corner and with it the new and with web shooters improved Amazing Spider-Man in the movies
For some who have been around a number of years, you know that this entire web site started out as just Spider-Man hype and then grew into superhero hype.
To all of the Hypsters and their families-I wish you health, happiness and peace of mind for the New Year.

Yeah, I think it changed around 2003 or 2004 due to the popularity of upcoming super hero movies...

I really can't remember the year... but it was early in the game...

Spider-Man Hype had been around since 1998 with a smll amunt of users... then things changed in 2000 with everybody rejoining as well as a bunch of nw people... if I remember correctly.

I've been a little on the busy side, so I haven't been on the hype in awhile. My wife was busy giving birth to our new baby boy, so it's been hectic! Hope everyone had a great time,and I wish you all the best in 2012!

Here's hoping the comics stay great, the movie is awesome, and we all get to see the Avengers film 12 times each!

Thanks, guys! Had a funny instance last night where he wanted to cry. Took him to his room (formerly my man cave), and he just STARES at the Spider-man movie posters and stops crying. I...cannot express my pride. I really can't!
