A show about night terrors and night entities? It first aired on either TLC or A&E, one of those stations. I think the show was called "Night Entities", or something similar. I searched the internets far and wide for the show, but I can't seem to find it.
From what I've heard, it's one of the most terrifying programs to ever air on a televison. Someone on Youtube used a few scenes of the show for a promo. You can see the promo here, along with a few scenes of the show;
