I knew that when Cannon had the rights they planned on Albert Phun to direct it here in Wilmington with Masters of the Universe 2, but I had no idea the director of Friday the 13th the final chapter, and Tobe Hooper were once attached.

And look at that poster Spider-man is webswinging over the earth. :awesome: That really is his greatest adventure. And just to let you know, the web swinging wouldv'e sucked here if they really made it in Wilmington. We don't have any tall buildings.
 
Think of the Captain America movie. Think of that and despair what Spider-Man might have been like had a movie been made in the 80's. :csad:

Yes. Especially if Doc Ock was to have been included (which I remember reading somewhere that he was planned on being the villain of the proposed 1980's Cannon film).

I don't think the Cannon group even had a script yet; just Scott Leva.
