Iron Man have we seen too much?

well to be fair if your familiar with the story then you already know too much.

I dont think anythin we've seen from images to video has given away too much.

I need more ;_;
I think Fox got a little excessive with the TV spots for X-3. Funnily enough, each of those looked awesome. Unlike the film.

But this? Something tells me that Marvel's first produced movie will kick all tons of ass.

I agree. And I love you you invented a new word and casually put it in your statement. I think I may steal it from you sometime :oldrazz:

Even if they had shown us all the action sequences in thier entirety, that doesn't make the movie. The best action scenes in the world only go so far if you don't care about the characters and the story, acting, and dialogue are no good the movie can still suck. And you can't assess that from trailors.

Surely the only time it'll be possible to draw the conclusion about whether or not we've seen too much already (i.e, all the best bits of the movie) is after we've actually seen the whole movie.

I'd be happy if we didn't get much more than we've already experienced.

I don't want as much footage shown for spidey 3 or the last stand shown in this case. Heck, they nearly showed too much with transformers

it stops the flow of the film once you eventually go and see it if every 5 minutes you get to see a 3 minute segment you've already watched.

I don't need the extra footage to book my ticket. As for the rest of the world, it remains to be seen.

I'll just keep my head down for the next couple of months

You are not alone. I'm doing that too.

I hate those people that see teasers and trailers and are like, "I already saw the movie, I don't need to pay for it." Shut the **** up.
Well...there are some movies that are pretty much summed up in the trailers and there's no reason to see them after you've seen the trailer :woot:

There certainly are - but as I said before, it's impossible to actually know that for sure until the full movie has been viewed in it's entirity.

Shown too much? They've hardly shown any of the action scenes! I don't know who the villian is from the trailer and at this point in time for a blockbuster movie that's saying something.

^ Too little? TDK has the best marketing for a movie I've ever seen.

Best marketing campaign for fanboys. Normal movie goers no nothing about the movie.

Disagreeing here, as the Empire magazine seems to have done its job attracting normal movie goers too, hasn't it?

I agree with you on that. But Empire Magazine is not a viral site. Its a Magazine that normal movie lovers will see and read. IMO, I doubt it will cause normal movie goers to jump on viral sites to play the mystery games for no rewards. I like the way Iron Man is being promoted, they have a trailer. TDK has...2 Joker pictures.:csad:

From the trailer, basicly we know the premise of the movie, but not too much has been shown. Now I use FF as the example. With the 1st movie in their hast to make it as appealing to the masses as possible, they showed wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Then with the 2nd movie the went wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in the other direction. Nothing was really released. Their has to be a middle ground, and I think Iron Man has given enough, but hasn't given away the store.

I don't think we've seen hardly anything.
Maybe I could have done without seeing even a glimpse of the Iron Monger so early though... At least of saved it until one of the trailers leading up to the release.
Apart from that, it's up to you isn't it?
So soon as you come into a spoilers forum, looking at the images, talking about scripts, you stand a big chance of messing up some of the magic for yourself.

how can we have seen too much when fans always want more... do fans ask for too much? yes

Seen too much....i say we haven´t seen anything yet.
I still haven´t seen nothing to make me excited for this one, in other words, i still haven´t seen nothing that makes me think that this movie will be any good (or bad).
