Have you ever though of completely going dark about a movie?

I never purposely seek spoilers for a movie I want to see. Why would I want to know what's going to happen beforehand

Hell, trailers these days give up too much of the story...

I usually go dark, except for movies I REALLY REALLY want to know more about: Revenge of the Sith, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. I will not go dar for Man of Steel and any Star Wars movie.

Did it for Inception. Best thing I ever did.

Same.

That year I paid zero attention to movies and only went to see two or three in theaters. Inception was one of them and only because it was a Nolan film. Going in I knew absolutely nothing about it other than that Leo DiCaprio was in it.

One of the best movie experiences of my life.

With TDKR being an exception because it's Batman. I will absolutely go in as blind as possible to all Nolan films.

I try to go as dark as I can into a movie nowadays...it helps me enjoy the film A LOT more without spoilers.

I went blind going into Cabin In The Woods and 21 Jump Street and to my surprise ended up liking them.

I did it for Skyfall. I watched the first two trailers and that's it.
I just saw the trailers too and was disappointed at the end result.

The real challenge is doing it for a movie you know is going to be a massive event. It's not as easy as it sounds.

I'm pretty good at avoiding spoilers. Didn't catch many for any of the big superhero films this year.

Trailers I find harder to resist. In fact, a lot of the time I find odd gems I want to watch by spending some time watching random trailers. It almost feels weird seeing a movie without having at least got an idea of what it is about by watching the trailer.

And when it comes to Superman all best are off. Even with Smallville, I read every single little episode spoiler available.

I try to do it as much as I can for movies I look forward to watch. The most I see is a teaser trailer and that's it. I'm becoming pretty good to avoid spoilers.

It's a funny thing - if I don't go dark I don't have the same investment in the movie even if I know a lot about it.

Did it for Inception, did see the trailers however but other than that had no idea what to expect. Most recently did it for Argo.

i literally dont think I am capable of doing this
