Do you remember the first movie you ever saw in a theater?

I think it was the first Casper...or The Lion King. I can't remember properly :(

I think it was either Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Batman, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Whichever was released first.

I beleive it was that 1st Power Rangers movie for me.

On a similar note, the 1st time I went to a drive-in was to see The Mask. My 1st drive-in experience predates my 1st theatre experience.

drive-in was ET I think. Not too sure about the theatre. My parents used to take us to the movies and orchestra a lot when we were young.

The first I remember is the Little Mermaid. It was quite embarrasing to be in the que for that one when you're an 8 year old boy.

My best young cinema experience was easily Jurassic Park, I remember it clearly to this day.

It was either the Lion King or Babmi, not sure.

The Rescuers Down Under

Shame the theatre I saw it in hasn't had any renovations in years and has become a ghost town. Used to love going there, now I won't see a movie there unless its free through work. There is the nostalgia factor but it also has character and would also be crowded.

It was either Casper or Toy Story, depending on which came out first. I'm too lazy to look. But I can remember loving both (and they're both still really good films IMO).

Strangely enough, it was Throw Mama From The Train; and I was 5 years old.

Toy Story. Would've been Jurassic Park, but at that time I thought the dinosaurs could actually rip their way out of the screen. :(

T2, it was released in 1996 again here in Russia. I still think it's one of the greatest blockbusters! :)

The first I remember is The Lion King. I'm sure their might have been something before that, but that's the first I remember. It was me, and my two cousins. My oldest cousin, the female, I just remember her crying her eyes out when Mufasa was killed.

Return of the Jedi. I was 4 and fell asleep halfway thru

Star Wars, the first time it was released. I was 3.

I still remember people in the audience going 'oh my god!!!' when the Star Destroyer flew over in the opening scene. I remember being totally blown away seeing a double sunset. And I can still remember the audience cheering really loud when the Death Star blew up--people were actually stomping on the floor.

Earliest film I can remember seeing in theaters was Beauty and the Beast. And the Beast scared the crap out of me.

I might have you all beat, it was either Star Wars: A New hope or Inframan.
