Probably because Renner ran himself over. He's also starring in Mayor of Kingstown, season 3 of that just started filming now that he's mostly recovered. I'd love a second season of Hawkeye myself.Finished this series in 1 day and honestly watching Hawkeye today, this show is definitely deserving of a Season 2 but why they haven't moved on this...I just don't understand
But also given how Season 1 ended they definitely need to have a Season 2Probably because Renner ran himself over. He's also starring in Mayor of Kingstown, season 3 of that just started filming now that he's mostly recovered. I'd love a second season of Hawkeye myself.
Oh, sure. I loved his interaction with Kate. It was really well done. But also given how Season 1 ended they definitely need to have a Season 2
It sounds like the attempt to pass the torch failed if we need the old guy who passed on to his young protégé to return.Probably because Renner ran himself over. Kate as Hawkeye taking over the series I mean I wouldn't mind that but Renner is synonymous with the characterIt sounds like the attempt to pass the torch failed if we need the old guy who passed on to his young protégé to return.
In the end for the MCU as a whole we either let the character go and let the next generation run with a similar set of powers or reboot the entire thing since the thing has been running for 16 years already and the actors playing the characters are not Asgardians and will get out and suffer injuriesKate as Hawkeye taking over the series I mean I wouldn't mind that but Renner is synonymous with the character
Kate and Yelena as the new Clint and Natasha I can go for thatI remember thinking after finishing Hawkeye the first time, if they did a season 2 it should focus on new KAte and Yelena. Their first scene together was showed they gel pretty well with each other.
I like the idea of Renner staying on as a mentor with the main story being Kate.Kate as Hawkeye taking over the series I mean I wouldn't mind that but Renner is synonymous with the character
I'd gladly watch a second season with Renner. Hes worth the wait. Why? Because season 1 was fantastic
Too long? Yeah probably, but I'll still happily watch. They had to wait for Renner to, you know, recover from dying.
I don't think they'd take the risk of making a theatrically released Hawkeye movie. But I've been saying for a while that they shouldn't be afraid of embracing direct to streaming movies. Hawkeye would be perfect for that, especially since the first season felt like a five hour rough cut of a movie. If Marvel Studios plan to only release 2 (live action) shows per year, this should come out in 2027 the earliest...
2025: Daredevil, Ironheart
2026: Wonder Man, Vision
2027: Hawkeye
so I don't know why even bother when the gap for the 1st and 2nd season is five years long. They could feature them in the movies, or better yet, make a Hawkeye film for once. A Hawkeye movie shouldn't cost that much compare to a MCU show.
All the live action mcushows for me, felt like they could have been easily a 2 hour long movie but stretched /divided into 5 to 9 episodes run because of the Disney+ platform. I feel a bit tired or unsatisfied after watching them, because they didn't need to be that long or stretched into several episodes because they didn't do a lot to begin with to justify 5 to 9 episodes.I don't think they'd take the risk of making a theatrically released Hawkeye movie.
