I feel so complicated towards Gillian, she is insane, but we all know why that is.

I am guessing/hoping that the guy bails when he finds out what is really going on. It's just too gross. But then I guess they had to come up with some kind of story to give her character something to do this season. Seems to me they might have been better off just having her fade off into the sunset after Jimmy died. :(

I thought about that too, but it will lead somewhere. Often with shows like this the seemingly minor plot threads end up having some great significance down the line. Every time Margret shows up with her prenatal classes or her weird kid I think the same thing "Why do I care about this?" but I'm sure it'll end up in Nucky's lap at some point and affecting the bigger picture.

I hope so because it does seem like some characters or just floating. :( I was hoping for more Harrow.

For Margaret there's a foreshadowing [BLACKOUT]that she'll be pregnant[/BLACKOUT], it seems pretty certain after this episode and if so, things won't end well.

There are some people talking that gilian could use that guy to pass off as james as a scheme to gain full control of the house. I don't know how believable that would be seeing as aside from that exact same haircut i don't know if he looks that much like jimmy enough to fool anyone.

And speaking of creepy? how about teddy the firestarter and his knife? This show is turning into American Horror Story.

Yeah, the bloke doesn't look like Jimmy at all, too stocky and I always found that Michael Pitt had very distinct facial features, a kind of beaten down and sunken look.

Then again, we do know that the old man who is the lawyer is bent, he did screw the black maid out of her inheritance after all. He could go along with it and after all, who really needs to know the house was signed over other than the lawyer and Gillian?

I think too many people knew Jimmy too well for a scheme like that to fly. Certainly Nucky wouldn't buy it, :p

I'm still not used to seeing both sides of his face. :p

I feel sorry for her though. :csad: Very disturbing but one of my favourite scenes in the entire series:

Another good episode tonight. Light on action but great character moments. Man, I tell you, Jimmie's mother is one sad, tragic woman. You cannot help but feel sorry for her, as twisted as her relationship with her son was, at the end of the day, she loved the s*** out of him. [BLACKOUT]When she killed that Jimmie look-alike in the tub, i was like holy s****![/BLACKOUT]! But again, you cannot help but feel her sadness. I suspect she will be forming an "alliance" with Rosetti soon.

Gillian is one crazy b**ch! the last 20 min of the episode were excellent. and Rosetti is a deeply insanely disturbed psycho. seriously, beating up on a priest and stealing from a church? that guy means business

Geez, the ticking clock in Gillian's house was crazy annoying. She has a hell of a bathroom though...shame about the mess.

I loved the scene with Gyp's family. I wonder what it would take for him to unleash his violent temper of them, or are they immune? Maybe he had a bigger family, but they get gradually smaller as he has more tantrums. I like how the show does it's subtitles in bright yellow, it's really handy.

Gotta love Harrow. The way he delivered the "I'll kill you" line was beautiful. And I do want to know if there's a crocodile boy. Worth a nickle, for sure.

I love the scene with The Gyp in Italian gangster's restaurant where he pats The Gyp's hand and says "I'm not joking/kidding".

I never saw the Gyp scared before. He's crazy but he ain't stupid.

I just felt bad that Margret didn't take up Nucky's offer for juggling lessons. I like it better when they don't fight. Now I wonder if they will ever be happy together. :(

Nucky doesn't deserve Margret.

He's smart but he's still a low life.

Why should she juggle for him?

I guess that I am disappointed that the can't forgive each other. That kind of hate must be exhausting. It would wear me down.

As others have said, I thought last night was light on action but heavy on some character moments. I like Rosetti a lot more after seeing his family. He's such a rough, odd character and I didn't expect his family to keep him in check like they did. It was fun to watch.

Seeing more Harrow is always good and I'm glad they are giving him a love interest. The Eli-Nucky rapprochement is something that was nicely done. I liked how they played it where Nucky and Margaret saw something different in each other during the family talent show. And it was sad that Margaret didn't take Nucky up on her offer. I was a little pissed at Margaret that she put Nucky's business out there to his sister-in-law, when she just cheated on him last week.

I was wondering what was going to happen between Gillian and fake James. Like some of you, I thought she was going to use him in some scheme to gain control of the house, and I guess she did but I wasn't expecting her killing him. I knew something was up though when they spent so much time showing her bathe him. But still, that was some cold work.

Hopefully this was a calm before the storm episode and the action will pick up next week.

Oh, I knew poor fake James was going to be toast, I just wasn't sure how she was going to do it. I still don't see how anyone is going to buy that he is the real Jimmy, though. He doesn't look THAT similar and too many people knew Jimmy personally.

They both need each other for practical reasons but physically and emotionally they can't really fulfill each other's needs.

That's the reason they both have affairs.

I'd be happy for Margret if she would run away with Owen but she can't do that until Nucky is dead or in jail.

All she has to do is pay off an official since this era was so corrupt.

Owen does seem to be the better match but if he is heading down the same path as Nucky, who's to say he won't end up just as cruel in his later life?

Owen won't last long, given the latest episode it seems Nucky is feeling something for Margaret again. Once he finds out then it's good night Owen (not that it wouldn't have been good night anyway for him :p). I reckon Teddy will spot them together and spill the beans to Nucky.

I reckon that Eli is going to be the biggest casualty of the Rosetti/Masseria -v- Rothstein/Nucky war.

Also, Harrow was bad ass, though I did feel sorry for Julia's dad when you could hear him sobbing. I hope Jimmy's last wish for him to 'come back' from the war rings true and he finds happiness with Julia. Then again, I am hoping for a Harrow kill spree somewhere down the line. :ninja:

It's really nice to see Richard take Jimmy's last words to him to heart. At first I was kind of wondering why Richard lets Tommy go off on his own so much, but realized it's pretty much suicide to mess with that kid, or anyone he cares about lol.
