#TrueDetectiveSeason2 was trending worldwide for a good few hours with people putting together their dream cast - some pretty funny choices as well as solid ones. So I was wondering who you guys had in mind?

There are so many options really. It also depends if they are really going to follow the 2 detective format again?

It'll be hard to top Woody and Matthew, so they may not want to set themselves up for a direct comparison with another pair.

Detective stories can be one guy or a whole special crimes unit.

Honestly, I question this show's longevity. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Pizzolatto and Fukunaga take a bit of a back seat next season and let others write and direct. They're gonna get a ton of offers for movie projects.

I have to say that and I want to punch those two detective interrogating Rust and Marty in the face.

I hate how wrong they are about everything.

I always get aggravated by characters like that. Just three more episodes and we'll find out who the yellow king is.

Something tells me it's related to the Governor we saw early on.

Matt and Woody truly created something special here. I kind of want them to end it with one season. I know they're going for an anthology type of deal but I'm way too invested in these characters at this point.

Really hope they keep getting these top tier actors though. Like you said though it's hard for me to imagine anyone topping what is being done with this first season here.
