I've got this 27" Westinghouse HDTv that's been giving me trouble. I'm having some screen issues for months now and I don't know what it means or how to fix it. Obviously, the warranty has expired, so I'm trying to figure out what I can do to fix it.

It's hard to describe what the issue is, so please see the file here where I show you what it looks like as I go through the different inputs and try to open the TV menu screen:

Any advice?

i had a Westinghouse LCD monitor and i remember it doing something like that after i bought it a year or so ago. Westinghouse is a really awful manufacture company, all you can do now is buy a new one or fix it which would cost a lot of $$$

Yeah, I've realized this.

This is actually the replacement TV they sent me after the first one zonked out. I also sent them an e-mail on the matter.

If Westinghouse can't compensate, or the repair seems expense, I'll try to see if I can at least get a few bucks for the parts or something..

yea because i dont think there is anything else you can do on your part.

Yeah, and I really don't need another replacement...

at least not another TV...but I hear all of their other products aren't very reliable either...

well just dont get anything that has Westinghouse's name on it
they are crap :down

Hmmm....Apparently Westinghouse is gonna send me...ANOTHER replacement now.

It better be a 40" er

so you called them and what did they say?

Well, I sent them that link so that they can look at what the problem was.

I gave them my serial number and the TV is still covered under their warranty. They are obligated to send a replacement. They will contact me again soon with more details
