A year ago. My mother had had a stroke...was in a nursing home....while I was visiting one day, the other lady in the room got into a sneezing fit, then started acting like in big pain....we called the nurses in to check....she went into cardiac arrest and died.

I blame the cardiac arrest. The sneeze is wrongfully accused here. It has its rights.

It could have been global warning (that's in honor of the other thread)....but I saw someone sneeze and it lead to her death.

It is common courtesy to say bless you and for someone to reply with thank you. But we all know that common courtesy is disappearing in the world.

I don't say it because I dont believe in it, but I usually thank people for saying it to me.

But I do find it annoying when people dont say thank you after you hold the door for them, let them pass on a path or when you let them out in their car. But sadly its as C.Lee says, common courtesy is disappearing.
