there might already be a thread on this, but what ever happened to the journal that Heath kept when he studied the role of the joker? i would do anything to see that thing..

I am so close to posting an insensitive yet funny reply. I wont do it!!!

I've been wondering this for a while now too. What did happen to this thing? I'd love to read it just to see how serious Heath took this character and how he had to alter his own thoughts to become him.

Why would anything "happen" to it? It and his other possessions are with his family, I imagine.

Heath would have probably get upset if anyone else had gotten ahold of it. I heard that he had gotten upset that people knew about it. Although I would love to see it, I hope it never gets released to the public, for his sake.

This :down

Though I think Heath himself mentioned the journal at an interview, so I don't think the "He was upset about people knowing" argument is valid.

I heard he
mistaked it for his drug prescription!

[BLACKOUT]Bloody hell i did it!

They only thing i know about it is that heath has written that the joker would find AIDS and cancer funny. If the rest of it is like this, its not really clever if you ask me.
"Hurr durr the joker finds stepping on feces on the pavement funny."
I think that giving the joker a direction, an objective, invoking chaos was the Nolan bros' work.

I think that this journal must be a secret... Forever. A secret behind his take on The Joker. In Spain, in theater, we have a famous phrase: "Cada maestrillo tiene su librillo" (something like "Every master has his own book!")

wow.

what a classy and insightful human being you are!

please do share more of your priceless wisdom post haste!

if i ever got a hold of it, I'm sure that book would transform me, in ways of how the catcher in the rye changed mark david chapman

Neither do I. It's a joke on suicide, I suppose, but I don't see how
Explanation:
Since the journal has things like "AIDS is funny" if you mistake it with your drug prescription you will probably die, or mix drugs you shouldnt have.

About the joke, i dont think its so bad since in the caption thread people are making caption manips about the interrogation scene where Batman is a complete ******* about Heath's death.
As for the journal, i sincerely hope that he has a more in depth analysis than "tragic ways to die are funny". Thats all i was saying. I honestly think that portraying the joker as an angel of chaos is the work of the Nolans.
Why so serious? :joker:
Thanks!

I feel like its a private sort of thing. I don't know if i would like to see any of it. The performance speaks for itself.

Most fans probably wouldn't be able to handle what's written on those pages. Lord knows what sort of ungodly horrors Heath subjected his own mind to in the quest to bring us a great Joker.

Some things are best left forever buried. Forgotten.

Still doesn't make any sense. You should worry less about posting insensitive jokes and worry more about posting awfully unfunny attempts at humour.
