Heavenly Sword TGS screens

No Heavenly Sword stands darn fine on its own merits, and you know it. I'm not the one who original brough N3 up in relation to this game, ask WHF. I was perfectly fine to keep it at "Heavenly Sword" but he decided to hype a ****ty game, it was his Killzone I guess.

How can you HONESTLY say it looks bad. Seriously.

By seeing that a scarcely upgraded 3 year old xbox port looks several hundred times better than it does, graphically and gameplay wise? I mean, seriously, that pretty much sums it up right there. There were better looking games years ago, on last gen consoles, that also happened to be better games to boot. The game is getting hyped for no reason, it's the Resistance of the action genre.

And I don't think WHF mentioned N3 here, ever. As a matter of fact, I'm 1000000000000000000000000000000000% sure that he didn't

Can I have some of what you're smoking. It must be REALLY GOOD.

THe new argueing tactic when you want to troll a game: The truth doesn't matter!!!!

Actually, it will be available for the Japanese and US launch in a matter of weeks, not "4 months". It's only "4 months away" for Europe because that's when PS3 launchs there, the game is ready to go during the launch window. Even if you don't want to accept that it's a launch game, the effects on it's hype are the same.
All past indications have suggested a March release. That's not a couple of weeks after the US/Japan launch.

Heavenly Sword: 65% Completion

It's still got a fair bit to go yet.

You really can't comprehend someone liking one game without another being involved, can you? This has nothing to do with N3. Nothing. Nadda. As a matter of fact, had Avalanche not brought it up, it wouldn't be involved in this thread at all. Stop mentioning N3 and trying to use it to shield Heavenly Sword from the fact that it looks bad
Oh for heaven's sake. :whatever: I brought it up as a joke. I didn't realise it was still such a sore topic on your part. Had I anticipated your general huffiness as an extortionate response, I wouldn't have bothered.

There's a several years old, scarcely upgraded xbox port.

And there's the game that looks pretty terrible next to it.

The truth matters Zenien, hence why I'm able to see facts like NG looking far and away better than HS. I mean, it's just obvious

"Oh for heaven's sake", it wasn't a shot against you, I was simply bringing to her attention the fact that the game wasn't involved in this thread until you mentioned it. Get a thicker skin.

And at least use up to date versions of Heavenly Sword what "Seeing it in motion" mattering suddenly disapears when it's a PS3 game.

You can not like the visual style of Heavenly Sword all you want but it's f-ing beautiful to a LOT of people and technically, it's one of the most profitient next gen titles we've seen.

You're the one, for all my N3 talk because of WHF bringing it up way back when and argueing it into the ground with me and getting beaten by the fact that his precious game sucked ass, can't seem to stop mentioning Ninja Gaiden.

And having played Black, the PS3 version looks sharper with better texturing, and higher a polygon count. It looks so similar becaue all of Rockstar-boy games do, compare DOA Ultimate to DOA4.

These are from September 21st, and while I do like the game (mostly the fighting), IMO NG still looks better.
I'll still buy HS whenever I get a Ps3 though.

THis thread is ruined pretty much, good job.
I did use "up to date", that screenshot was one of the first things I saw when I clicked "screenshots" at IGN. No, it's not beautiful to most, it generally only looks good to people who really want it to. I can't stop mentioning Ninja Gaiden...because I've mentioned it one, two times in this thread, once to prove a point and twice because you disputed it? Heh, ok. And having played Black myself, without the rose tinted "the ps3 really isn't flopping around here" goggles on, the only thing improved in Sigma so far is resolution and blood. This thread wasn't ruined by me, so don't congratulate me. So far the only thing I've done is respond to an unprovoked shot, and then answered questions as to why this game didn't look that impressive, which I guess sent you into rabid SDF mode.
